Founded in 2018, Manuel Johnson is a swedish owned investment and asset management company in South Africa with a unique focus in developing SME ventures and entrepreneurs in Africa's ‘Growing FInancial Economy’. The mission is to ideate and develop the User Interface for the brands novel app. The App design utilised user research obtained from focus groups and the brands market positioning. The app design is the first phase of the development process after which the subsequent stages of User testing and functional utility would be undertaken. The design system for the creative overview was largely based on the Manuel Johnson brand guide which clearly set out the various brand elements expected to be visually represented.
